Contemporary Romance – A Lot Like Love

Contemporary Romance – A Lot Like Love is a delight for romance novel fans. Jennifer Snow enchants readers with this sizzling romance. I thoroughly enjoyed this first book in the Blue Moon series.

Sarah Lewis takes some time away from her technology related job in Los Angeles. Her grandmother passed away recently and left the Blue Moon Bay Bed and Breakfast to Sarah.  Unfortunately, the B&B has fallen into disrepair, and is badly in need of a renovation. Sarah has no plans to keep her grandmother’s bed and breakfast.

Sarah decides to enlists a high school alum, Wes Sharrun to bring the B&B up to snuff. And when the work is all done, Sarah will put the Blue Moon Bay B&B up for sale. And the sooner the better so Sarah get back home to her job in Los Angeles.

Jennifer Snow is a proven pro in writing fun, yet compelling romance stories. Sarah and Wes come face-to-face, after not seeing each other for years, in what I would call a “meet-cute” and a rather funny one at that after all these years.

Sarah learns that Wes’ wife Kathy passed away a few years ago. Wes is not exactly computer savvy, but his nine-year-old daughter, Marissa is a little technology whiz. I especially love how Jennifer Snow brings the world of technology into this story. Sarah’s tech knowledge is key in the connection that forms between her and Marissa.

Would you like a little mystery with your romance? Yes, please! After Sarah finds her grandmother’s journal, she is left with a curious mystery. This intriguing mystery hooked me from the start! This is where Jennifer Snow’s expertise in writing a sizzling contemporary romance around everyday circumstances. This talent goes far in making A Lot Like Love a readable delight for contemporary romance fans.
